Resource Handbook

A directory of resources for investigative journalists compiled by Crina Boros and Roberto Barros.

On this page you will find a list of links to training organisations, government sites, journalist networks and support organisations that provide information useful to investigative journalists.

The range of information is broad, covering amongst other subjects, sport, climate change and using the Freedom of Information Act. While we have tried to make the information here as comprehensive as possible, it is by no means complete, and if you think there’s a link we’ve missed, please fill in the details in the form at the bottom of this page.

We have divided the links into categories and put them on as excel spreadsheets, but the ultimate aim is to make this into a searchable database. Meanwhile, we hope you find this useful and can send any comments to: info@tcij.org

Here we have listed links to environmental legislation, international and regional governing institutions, NGOs and watchdogs concerned with environmental protection, campaigns, research, projects and advocacy. Human Rights Organisations and Publications
This page contains links to human rights legislation, the names of governing councils, commissions, courts, programmes and other authorities. The first section is dedicated to human rights, while the next sections are specific to refugees and migration, training in peace-building, the rights of children and women, the death penalty and health aid. Press Freedom
