StateWatch
A non-profit group that encourages informed discussion and debate about the State and civil liberties in Europe. Its network of journalists, researchers, activists, lawyers and academics provide news, features and analyses backed up by full-text documentation.
Spinwatch
An organisation that monitors the role of public relations and spin in contemporary society. It promotes greater understanding of the role of PR, propaganda and lobbying.
Fair Reporters
The Forum for African Investigative Reporters (FAIR) is a professional association of investigative journalists in Africa. Its mission is to enhance, deepen and build investigative journalism as a profession throughout the continent. FAIR was established in May 2003 by 15 investigative journalists from six African countries on the basis of the awareness that, firstly, investigative journalists have a vital role to play to enhance the African public’s right to information about all matters of social development and social justice; and, secondly, that African investigative journalists at present face many obstacles, ranging from lack of encouragement and low pay to life-threatening situations.

An independent non-profit journalism venture that provides innovative investigative reporting by merging the classic watchdog function and traditional values of the press with the best tools of new media.
Center for Public Integrity
A non-partisan and non-profit organisation dedicated to producing original, responsible investigative journalism on issues of public concern.
Center for Investigative Reporting
A non-profit investigative news organisation that has been producing award-winning reporting for over 30 years. Its investigations have received numerous journalism awards and have sparked Congressional hearings and legislation, UN resolutions, public interest lawsuits, and change in corporate policies.
CorpWatch
