Melanie McFadyean has been a freelance journalist for 30 years. In that time she has contributed to The Guardian where she worked for five years, The Independent and Indie on Sunday, Observer, Sunday Times, Telegraph magazines, Granta, the LRB, Elle, Marie Claire and others.
She has worked in TV and radio and has written or co-written five books.
She teaches one day a week at City on the Investigative Journalism MA.
